Keynote presenters and opening reception for our exhibit in conjunction with “Human Rights and Social Justice Day” at Miami University of Ohio, Oxford, on November 19

NOTE: Growing Season won the 2007 Carter G. Woodson Honor Award from the National Council for the Social Studies. Growing Season was one of six books selected nationally. As a result of this connection to educating children, we are collaborating with the Cleveland Museum of Natural History to establish an annual in-service program for northeast Ohio teachers. Instructional materials and lesson plans are being created to help teachers present many of the issues described and illustrated in Growing Season
